The 100 Day Project Gallery

“During the pandemic of 2020, I participated in The 100 Day Project. Every day for 100 days I created a mixed media page in an art journal and posted it on Instagram. I learned a lot about myself and the way I create during those 100 days. I found that when I just walked into the studio and looked at my basket of Gelli Plate prints and scraps, the colors inspired me. I was also inspired by whatever was going on at the time, whether it be a holiday or something significant like the race riots. I often used words or quotes according to my moods and inspirations. I had plenty of time to cut words and phrases out of old magazines during the lock down and I put them to use through out my journal. It was very rare that I’d enter the studio and not be inspired by something. Overall, it was a great experience and one that I hope to repeat…the 100 day project that is, NOT the pandemic!” -Beth
